Ye hai hindustan meri JAAN...!!!

Clock stuk four and the ofice boy served me cofèe , siping it as fast as i could and burning my tounge a bit, i grabed my bag and rushd out of my client office. On the way out, i made sure that i looked at the mirror atleast thrice, before i started walking down the road.
Dressed in a light blue formal striped shirts with italian colar, a v neck black T and a low waist shaded blue jean, i started my way to the subarban railway station, not that i had to board the train, but my hostel is opposite to the station.
Listening to A.R.Rahman and moving my legs to the tune of the music, with an expresion that no one can match you, i walked.
The road is realy narow and a single lane, but my countrymen always like double benefits, so they drive in two or three lanes.
A hefty trafic police, with his tummy over almost like a lady carying a goat in her woamb, and useless moustache that would scare his grand kid in sleep, stood at a side. The bikers made it sure that they dint have an eye contact with the fool in the uniform.
I gues the guy felt it was time for his tea, he walked to the midle of the road and stoped few bikers, checked thei licence and other papers that were required. Now again this is my country india we do not carry what we have to, and i could see the buffoon's face glow as if he won the best monkey award.
And then the biker moved to a side and pulled out few ten rupee notes and put it in the monkeys pocket.
And both parted ways to their destinations.

I walked down the road thinking about the incident, am sure if it was me on the bike i would have done the same, so whats the difference between me and that tummied fool in an uniform, these are endless shackles that we have created on ourself and it gets stronger as time passes on, any thing and evrything under the sun can be bought in my country.
Unless we are the one's hurt, v think it as others problem.
Its beter now than never, do react..!!!

Ready Get Set ....Dont want to go...

“I’m at the starting line for the rest of my life as ready as I have ever been. Got the hunger and the stars in my eyes the prize is mine to win.’- Miley Cyrus

I am at a new phase in my life. School days are over and I will be going to college soon enough. New surroundings, new friends, new environment, new mistakes. I will be experiencing new things. And it’s the time I really take on the world and take new responsibilties. Time to grow up and take on the world with a new vengeance. And I am damn scared of the whole thing. Scared of growing up. Sounds stupid doesn’t it ? But sometimes don’t you feel the same too. When you just want time to stop forever or when you want a moment to last forever. Or when you wish you were peter pan, the boy who never grew up.

Well it’s a mixture of feelings. The rational and practical side of me tells me its about time. About time to stand on my own feet and take on the world from the driver’s seat. About time I grew up into the woman I always wanted to be. Strong and independent. If only it were that easy. But then if everything would be easy it wouldn’t be called life now would it? Bill Gates said once. “Life is never fair. Get used to it.”. And he is right…now all I have to do is get used to it. Everyone faces a time like this. A time when they are at the crossroads. But then all you can do then is keep your faith in GOD. After all He has brought you this far and blessed you with all the love that you have. All you can do then is trust him and take a step forward. Keep believing and don’t give up. Because HE is watching over you. And then you will realize that it doesn’t matter what you are facing or what you will be facing. Because as long as you have the strength and the courage and above all you have God everything is going to turn out okay.

Now if only I can convince myself of that it would all turn out okay.

P.s. So much for going missing..haha....

Whisper hello.I'll miss you quite terribly:(

Hey bloggers out there. Sorry I was missing out of the scene for a little while. Like you all know by now we have a new member with us. He is the fun-loving and goofy friend with an unnaturally deep personality and intellect I told u guys about. And now he is here! I am so excited because now things are going to get more interesting. So welcome Thariq! Hope you have as much fun writing on this blog as I do.

Ok now that we all are done welcoming and congratulating him lets turn to other things. I am starting college now and on my way to become an IT engineer. Well hopefully an IT engineer. You know just in case this writing thing goes down the drain I need to have something else to feed myself. Or maybe it’s the other way around. Maybe I am writing just in case they kick me out of college or something. Haha well you guys would be the first ones to know if that happens. You know the other day I heard this really hilarious quote by a really famous writer. I must apologize because I do not recall his name but his words will be forever etched in my mind. On asked about whether writing was his first choice or not he replied that it took him 15 years to realize he was a bad writer. But by then he had become so famous he couldn’t stop. I couldn’t stop laughing when I heard that and it seemed like a crime to keep it from you guys.

Well anyways the point was I am going to be missing from the scene for a little more time. But ill be back soon enough. There’s only that much time anyone can keep me from blogging. Well ill keep you guys updated. See you all soon.I'll miss you.

With love
Aditi

Dead Showers..!!!

Seems the rain department at the god's government is less pleased with chennai. While all the other states surounding this metro are enjoying the pour down, people of chennai still look at the sky with a question whats our culpa..?
The clouds over chennai city begged for a bath, or some one from the rain department corrupted his hands, it showered the metro city yesterday.

I was prety happy with the sound of showers hitting my roof, i looked out side, through the window. The rain aint a stranger to me. Memories flashed my mind, i was 10 and was gazin out side through the grilled door at my grand ma's house, tasting grand ma's hand made salted mangos that she had set aside few months before the rain started. The speed of showers increased and the water was flowing from my compound down the water lanes to the roads and ultimately ended up in the smal river that was next to my house. The rain water looked red and yello because of the red soil that got pulled in the flow, and when the showers calmed down, we the kids, ran out. Weting our selfs to the light drizle, made paper boats and put them in the water flowing down the lane, ran splashing the water with legs at each other, shook the small trees so that the rain drops hid in the leaves fall like heavy showers, and at the end of the day run to the pond next by and swim there till the sun gave its empire.

Some thing realy shook my sences and i realised i was in chennai, the showers were almost done, but the kids next door never steped out, even the dogs and cats next street dint bother to step out, i went down to my veranda and saw salman coming running towards my room jumping from stone to stone so that the water doesnt touch his feet. And i gazed into the water, it was black, dark and stinky, i thought i would vomit any moment, i looked down the street, water there werent any lanes where water was flowing, d dark pits on the road had captured the purest water that the planet gives and changed its color to the most cheapest one. All the waste in the road side, all the dead smal creatures and all sorts of shit flew in wid the water.

With a sad mind i went to my terace, looked up at the sky, the clouds had disappeared, and i thought why shouldnt they, and i got my answer why the rain dept in god's governance didnt bless chennai, and i prayed to god please no more rain...!!!
